OpenAI has launched a new $100 per month ChatGPT Pro plan, targeting developers and users who need more powerful AI tools.
This new plan sits between the $20 Plus plan and the $200 Pro plan, giving users a balanced option with better performance and higher limits at a lower cost than the top tier.
One of the main highlights of this plan is its focus on Codex. Codex is an advanced AI tool that helps users write code, fix errors, and complete complex programming tasks more efficiently.
With the $100 plan, users get around 5 times more Codex usage compared to the Plus plan. This makes it ideal for developers, freelancers, and tech professionals who rely on AI for daily coding work.
The plan is designed for “high-intensity” usage, meaning users can work longer without quickly reaching limits. However, it is important to note that it is not unlimited. The higher $200 plan still offers much larger usage capacity.
For a limited time, users of this new plan may also receive higher usage limits, making it even more valuable during the early release period.
This new pricing option also shows how OpenAI is adapting to growing competition in the AI industry. More companies are offering advanced AI tools, so flexible pricing plans are becoming more important.
